WHELAN, (Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and formerly of Houndswood, Co. Mayo). December 13, 2018. Michael (peacefully in the wonderful care of all the staff of the Cairnhill Nursing Home, Bray). Beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Michelle, Yvonne, Edward and Kathryn Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, son , sons-in-law Michael and Tim,his sister Sr. Victoire, his grandchildren Hal, Rachael, Andrew, Ruth, Ella, Jacob, Lucas and Lottie and all his wonderful relatives, friends and neighbours with a big thank you for all their unbelievable support. Reposing at his home today (Friday)from 6pm to 8pm. Removal tomorrow (Saturday) to St. Michael's Church, Dun Laoghaire arriving for 1pm Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Kilternan Cemetery Park. Donations if desired to Greystones Cancer Support. All enquiries to Sheahan's Funeral Directors, Dun Laoghaire.Tel: 2801202.
