BERG - Mary (née O'Donoghue, born in Dublin), widow of Gilbert Berg, passed away in Meudon (France) on February 16, 2022. She is deeply regretted by her children Emeline and Christian, her grandchildren Manech and Melvil, and her brother Patrick, as well as many friends and close ones in France, Ireland and the United Kingdom. A Solemn Requiem Mass was held at St. George’s Anglican Church in Paris on Tuesday, February 22 at 10.30 am, followed by burial next to her beloved husband in Sèvres Cemetery.

Mary was a Member of the Class of l965 from the Sacred Heart Convent, Leeson Street. She joined our Class for lunches in Dublin over the past few years where she shared her memories of being a Mother, Wife and Work Colleague. I also had the pleasure of staying with her in Paris when Emeline and Christian were very small. Mary was very successful, energetic and hard working. She had a great appreciation for Music and the part it played in her life....
