KENNEDY,, Vincent (John), February 27, 2021. (Retired Garda Superintendent, Phoenix Park. Dublin and late of Newmarket, Co. Cork). Peacefully after a long illness borne with his usual stoicism, patience and good humour in the exceptional care of the staff of St James Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his parents William and Mary Ellen, his brothers Denver, Ted and Liam. Beloved husband of Anne, much loved father to Muireann and John, adoring grandfather to Stephen and Megan. Very deeply regretted by his wife, children, son in law John, daughter in law Cate, his sister Shellagh, brother Michael, sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews and his wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace. In lieu of flowers donations if desired to the MISA Unit, St James Hospital, Dublin 8. In line with current Government guidelines a private family Funeral will take place tomorrow (Wednesday)) at 10.15am.
