JOYCE - Canon Michael who died on March 15, 2021 (Swinford, and formerly of Foxford, Co Mayo). On the first anniversary of his death we the Joyce family would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on his sad passing. To those who put messages on RIP.ie and Midwestradio.ie, all those who wrote letters, cards, sent text messages and had masses offered we say thank you. We appreciate and are so grateful to the kind friends who looked after him during the lockdowns and comforted him in our terrible sadness on the death of our dear brother Anthony. We thank Bishop Paul Dempsey and Fr Dermot Meehan who celebrated his funeral mass, Antoinette and Francie for the beautiful music and singing. To all his religious friends and colleagues thank you for your support, to the parishioners who stood outside the church and lined the route as the cortege travelled to Swinford we are truly grateful to you all. The Holy sacrifice of the mass has been offered for your intentions
