Deepest sympathy from Alison and Ian Larkin

Words cannot even begin to express our sorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with; Ryan, Michael, Donal, David and Julia, Dermot's Mother, brothers and sisters at this sad time.

"May the peace which comes from memories of love shared , comfort you now and in the days ahead."

I will always remember Dermot for his unrelenting effervescence in conversations with him, his pleasantness, his devotion to his family, his intensity and ardor for his profession and particularly for his helpfulness when I first moved to England for which I shall forever be so grateful.

"What moves through us is silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word. We may not understand why you left us so soon, or why you left before we had a chance to say good-bye. However, little by little we begin to remember not just that you passed on, but that you lived. Your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
