GALLAGHER, Raymond (Dundrum and late of Glasnevin) - July 5, 2017, (peacefully), in the care of the wonderful staff at Simpson's Hospital; very sadly missed by his sister Mary (Flood), brother-in-law Kevin, nephews Eoin, Dara, Conall, Ruairi and niece Anna, relatives and friends. A Service of Thanksgiving of Raymond's life will take place this (Friday) afternoon at Mount Jerome Crematorium Harold's Cross at 2 o'clock No flowers please. Donations to Simpson's Hospital (www.simpsonshospital.com)

So sorry to hear of Raymond's death. I worked with him in on the racing desk in The Irish Times. He was a character and a half and was great fun to be with . . . one of the wittiest men I've ever met. May he rest in peace . . . John Kelly
