BYRNE - (nee Keenan) – Kathleen (Ballyroan) – On this First Anniversary of Kathleen’s death, Liam, Cormac and Miriam, together with Mam’s brother Brendan, sisters Teresa and Eileen would like to thank all the people who helped Mam in her long illness and gave us solace in our bereavement. Thank you to everyone who sent Mass cards, letters, messages of condolences, joined us in the Funeral Home and attended Mam’s Funeral, especially those who travelled long distances. We offer our sincere gratitude to all the staff and the Community Team of Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold’s Cross, to Mam’s GPs Pat McCarthy and Rachel Harnett, to Jenny Westrup and her team in the Beacon Oncology Department, to the nurses of the Ballyboden Primary Care Centre and to Criofan Shannon and his team in Ballyroan.
Our thanks also to Fr. Michael Murtagh, Deacon Frank Browne, Brona Silke and the bereavement team in Ballyroan Parish for arranging such a lovely send off for Mam.
We also thank Fanagans, the organist Anne McNulty and soloist Ami Hewitt, whose beautiful music so enriched Mam’s Funeral Mass. We are indebted to Marie Hammond and Tony McGuiness in St. Mary’s College RFC for their organisation, kindness, and support. We were very fortunate that Mam had a wonderful set of neighbours and friends who provided Mam with amazing support in her final years and days. We are so grateful to you all for the effort, care and love that you generously gave Mam.
