BURKE Michael (Sandycove, Co. Dublin, formerly of Ballinrobe, Co.Mayo) - January 11, 2017, in his 94th year, Detective Chief Supt (Rtd) An Garda Siochana, after a short illness; sadly missed by his beloved wife Pat, dearly loved father of Denise (Pike), John, Patrick and the late Anne-Louise, much loved father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather, also missed by his brother Tom, sister-in-law Eileen, his nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing tomorrow (Friday) at his home from 4pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday to St. Joseph's Church, Glasthule arriving for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill.

On the First Anniversary, January 11, of Michael's death his wife Pat, children Denise, John, Patrick and extended family wish to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours, members of Dun Laoghaire Golf Club and former colleagues of An Garda Siochana who sympathised with them on Michael's passing. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all of your intentions.
