GLANVILLE - Edward Vance, aged 86. (Ottawa, Canada, formerly Avoca School, Blackrock, and Trinity College, Dublin) Died peacefully at his home on January 28, 2022 in the presence of his daughter Celia and son Ranulf. Sadly missed by his brother Hugh and sister-in-law Brigid.

I am so very sorry to learn of Ed's death. He was Chairman of the Department of Anthropology at McMaster University when I knew him. He was a kind, talented, and good hearted man. My condolences to his children and family.
