REID, C.S.Sp., Rev. Des (Kimmage Manor, Dublin, late of Ballymote, Co Sligo and Moyne Co Longford) - Died on Monday 12th February 2024, in his 90th year. Missionary in Ireland, Kenya and Australia, son of the late Kathleen (née O’Connor) and John William Reid. Predeceased by his siblings Jack, Mary Kernan, Brian, Don, Kathleen V (Lola) Davey and Pauline. Deeply regretted by his brother Benny, sister Joan Duggan, sister-in-law Catherine and brother-in-law Brendan, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, Spiritan confrères and friends. May he rest in peace. Funeral Mass in Holy Spirit Parish Church, Kimmage Manor at 11am today (Thursday) followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery.
