CANAVAN - Finian (Fin) (Raheny, Dublin) September 18, 2023. On this, the first anniversary of Fin's death, his wife Sally along with his children Maeve, Clodagh and Aoife, his son-in-law Barry and his grandchildren Ellen, Sarah and Jamie would like to thank everyone who sympathised with us on our sad loss. Thanks to his brothers, sister-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews along with all of our friends, neighbours and Fin's former colleagues for all their support. We wish to thank Fr Cyril Mangan for his celebration of Fin's life at his funeral Mass and to the parish team in St Monica's Edenmore for their kindness and thoughtfulness. We also wish to thank everyone at St Francis Hospice Raheny for their wonderful care. Thanks to everyone who came to the funeral home and to the many people who attended the funeral Mass. We are grateful for all the letters, cards and online messages we received. All your support over the past year has been a great comfort to us. Husband, Dad, Granddad, brother, friend, neighbour and hillwalker. A full life, well lived. Remembered with love today and everyday.
