O'FLAHERTY, Dr. Eileen (née Sexton) (Sea Road, Galway) 21 January, 2025. (Peacefully) in the kind care of the staff of St. Mary's Nursing Home with family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Micheál and by her sisters Clare and Darina. Mourned and sadly missed by her children Ailbhe, Colm, Orla and Dara, grandchildren Cara, Eoin, Micheál, Niamh, Colm, Micheál, Nessa, Aisling, Brian, Laura, Ava and Sarah and by her great granddaughter Maggy born recently in Australia. Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her daughters-in-law Sarah and Kim, sons-in-law John and Ron, brother-in-law Coleman, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91 V1K8) from 4.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. on Sunday (January 26, 2025). Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Eileen at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius (Jesuit Church), Sea Road (H91 Y544) on Monday (January 27, 2025). Following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery. ‘Ní bás ach athfhás’
