GAYNOR, Maura J (née McConnell) (Dublin 16 and late of Calor Kosangas and Swilly Road, Cabra) - November 29, 2020 (peacefully) surrounded by, and in the thoughts and prayers of, her loving family, while in the tender care of the doctors and nurses at St James’s Hospital. Dearly beloved wife of the late Seán A Gaynor and wonderful daughter to the late Seán and Catherine. Profoundly missed by her devoted sisters Dympna (Boyce) and Caitríona (Donnelly), loving brothers Kevin, Brendan and John (Seánín), her brother-in-law Dónal Donnelly, sisters-in-law, Claire, Leslie, Maria and Margaret Milner, extended family, friends and neighbours. Forever missed by her adoring nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and Godchildren in Ireland and around the world, for whom she did so much and who regarded her as their second Mum. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to the Jack and Jill Foundation. Her generosity of spirit, love and kindness leaves a legacy of many happy memories. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis. Due to current restrictions, a private Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday, December 5, at 12.00pm. Those who would have liked to attend but cannot may view the Mass using this address https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-john-the-evangelist-church-ballinteer. When the current circumstances have passed, we look forward to celebrating Maura’s life with family and friends.
