GALLAGHER - Brendan (Clontarf and formerly of Bandon, Co. Cork), who died May 26, 2022. We, Brendan's family; his wife Margaret, sons Ian and Jim, grandchildren Dylan, Isabelle and Isacc, daughters-in-law Rachel and Lisa, brother Kevin (Kilkenny), uncle Pat (Bandon) and the extended family, would like to thank all of those who sympathised with us on our recent sad loss, be it attending the gathering, funeral Mass or committal, those who sent us cards and letters and those who travelled long distances to be with us. Thank you to our incredible relatives, friends and neighbours whose kindness and generosity was a source of huge comfort to us at such a sad time. A special word of thanks for Dr. Oscar Breathnach, Debbie and the Oncology team at Beaumont Hospital for the kindness and care they showed us. Thanks also to Brendan's former colleagues and students at City Quay N.S. for their heartening reflections and tributes. We are grateful to the musicians for the musical accompaniment to the funeral Mass. Thank you to Fr. Pat McManus and the church staff for the beautiful funeral Mass; it was a fitting tribute to him. Our thanks to the staff of Kirwans Funeral Directors for their professionalism throughout. Thank you to those who made donations to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Rotunda; we are very grateful and we know Brendan would have been too. A Month's Mind Mass, in memory of Brendan and for your intentions, will be offered on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 10.30am in St. Gabriel's Church, Dollymount.
