CARNEY, Archdeacon Richard Wayne Carney, The Rectory, Glebe Street, Birr, Co. Offaly, August 10, 2020. Archdeacon of Killaloe & Clonfert and Rector of Birr Group of Parishes , he will be lovingly remembered by his wife Norma-Jean (née Robertson) and his two two children; Kathleen and her husband William Landin, of Brittany, France, Brian and his wife Clodagh Carney,of Chatham,Ontario, his grandchildren; Owen, Lucien, and Blaise Landin and Eirin and Sean Carney. Wayne is survived by brothers Robert (Bob) of Chamcook, New Brunswick and Edward (Ed) of Chatham. Predeceased by brothers, Fredrick, and James. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Limerick. He will be cremated and have his ashes brought to Canada and be laid to rest in Chatham at a date to be determined. God’s Love as expressed through Jesus our Saviour will be my comfort and strength now and forever more, Amen.
