McLOUGHLIN, Michael A. (Station Road, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim and formally of the Swan Lake Inn, Effrinagh, Carrick-on- Shannon) - March 2, 2014, (peacefully) surrounded by his family, after a short illness, in the tender loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Sligo General Hospital. Loving husband of Bridie, father of Ailleen O'Gara (Roscommon), Carol, Niall and Dermot (Carrick-on-Shannon), deeply regretted by his sorrowing family, son-in-law, Larry, daughter-in-law, Ruth, grandchildren, great-grandchild, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and a large circle of friends. Remains reposing at his residence today (Tuesday) from 3pm to 9pm. House private please there-after. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1pm in St. Mary's Church, Carrick-on-Shannon followed by burial in Kiltoghert cemetery.May he rest in peace.
