CONATY Fr. Michael, (Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle, England, and late of Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan). Died in the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, October 5, 2017. Predeceased by his brothers Fr. Sean and Gerard. Deeply regretted by his sisters Kathleen McGovern (Athy, Co. Kildare) and Moya Gordon (Roscommon) and his brother Andrew Conaty and sister-in-law Kathleen (Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan) nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, friends and fellow priests. Reception Mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Church Street, Walker, Newcastle, tomorrow (Thursday) evening at 7.00 p.m. Requiem Mass on Friday (October 13) at 12.05 o'clock in St. Mary's Cathedral, Clayton Street, Newcastle. Interment to follow at Heaton Cemetery immediately after.
