HANNA, Dr John Eakin, (Malahide, Co. Dublin and formerly of Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan) – March 3, 2022, peacefully at home, aged 100 years, surrounded by family and friends. Husband of the late Peggy, will be greatly missed by children, Nancy, Joyce, and David, grandchildren Claire, Graeme, Anna and Ella, sons-in-law Amar and Pete, friends Danuta, Ivan, Carol, Adriana, Angelika, loyal dog Soldier, and many others. A great and dignified man, so easy to love. A Service of Thanksgiving for John’s Life will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at 12.00 noon in Corvalley Presbyterian Church, Carrickmacross followed by burial in Carrickmaclim Graveyard.
