WILSON (née Butler) (Ardross, Cherrysroad, New Ross, Co. Wexford and late of Croke Street, Thurles) - February 11, 2018 Maeve, beloved wife of Paschal, mother of Claire and the late David, sister of Katherine, John and David; sadly missed by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many cousins, extended family and a large circle of friends. R.I.P. Reposing at her residence today (Wednesday) from 3pm until 8pm. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) to The Church of The Assumption, Rosbercon, arriving for funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Stephen's Cemetery, New Ross. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Cancer Research. House Private Thursday morning please.

<p>Deepest Condolences</p> <p>Paschal and all the Wilson and Butler families at this shocking time, as a very old friend of Maeve from the age of 4 and throughout our teenage years in Thurles, I am just hearing of Maeve's passing; so so shocked at the too early passing of a Thurles true Lady; Yes we had as youngsters a gra for each other but both us kids far to to shy in the 70's, to both buth ignore; essentially Maeve was a most solid,quietly but brilliant soul and a lively brain not to compete with.</p> <p>I can but only send you on my behalf and all the Scanlon family of Thurles our deepest sympathy and your huge loss..A wife, a Mum and i am more than sure an exemplary,exemplary teacher but moreover always a genuine pure lady of great substance and personal integrity.Am as yet still wiping my nostalgic tears as I write this, having just heard of this massive loss to you all and to society .Maeve Fashion is Fleeting ...but Style as yours...Endures..​Wi​th my most deep condolences to you all.What a Lady!!Heaven... do not be in any doubt receives a lovely , quitely angel this evening!!</p> <p>Godbless and take care of you all her Families.</p> <p>Can only offer a candle was placed in Maeve's honour at Holy Cross Abbey this afternoon, under the true cross as true people as Maeve like diamonds in coalmines!!</p> <p>God bless you kindly soul and Lady.</p> <p>With My MOST FOND Kind remembrance Maeve...
