BRUEN, Ken (Writer). (Waterlane, Bohermore and formerly of Eyre Square and Newcastle, Galway). Died on the 29th March 2025 in University Hospital Galway. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Inez, brothers Noel and Declan and sister Jess. Will be always missed by his loving wife Philomena and daughter Grace, relatives, neighbours, his dedicated Jack Taylor readers and his many friends. Reposing in Irwin’s Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin, Galway (H91 CK84), on Wednesday the 2nd of April from 5:30pm. Removal at 7:30pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Forster Street, Galway. Ken’s Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday the 3rd of April at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to The New Cemetery Bohermore, Galway. No flowers or cards please. Donations if desired to Sister Consilio, Cuan Mhuire, Galway. May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
