BROPHY - Mary (née McHugh) late of Nutley Avenue, Donnybrook, Dublin, died peacefully on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 in the loving care of her family and the staff of St. Vincents Hospital. Mary was the beloved wife of Eddie, who pre-deceased her and the devoted mother of Ed, Richard, Katherine, David and Sarah. Mary will also be greatly missed by her brother Desmond; brother-in-law Kenny and his partner Helena; sisters-in-law Cora and Penny; daughters-in-law Sarah, Nives and Nuria; sons-in-law Richard and Colin, and her grandchildren Eve, Daniel, Jasmina, Bob, Frank, Theo, Elliot, Laura, Alexander, Carmen and Sebastian.

Marys siblings Jeanette, Thomas, Brendan, Philip and Dennis pre-deceased her. Go Raibh Suaimhneas Síoraí Uirthi Mary will lay in repose on Thursday, April 23rd from 5.00pm until 6.30pm at Fanagans Nichols Funeral Home, 29-31 Lombard Street East, Dublin 2. Funeral Mass will take place at Newman University Church, 87a, St Stephens Green, Dublin 2 on Friday, April 24th at 11.00am, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
