MORIARTY, Michael (Rathfarnham, Dublin) - On the First Anniversary of Michael's death on September 7th 2007, Michael's wife Annette (O'Connell), children Megan and Emmet, sisters Geraldine Lynch, Joan Hoban and Sheila Brennan, brothers Pat and Tom and the extended Moriarty and O'Connell families wish to thank sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our very sudden and sad loss of a much loved husband, father, brother and loyal friend. We wish to express our gratitude to the staff at Tallaght Hospital and hospital chaplain Fr Michael Browne SDB for their professional and compassionate care on the evening of Michael's unexpected death. We sincerely thank all our relatives, friends and neighbours, all those who travelled from many parts of Ireland and abroad to be with us at Michael's Wake, Removal and Funeral Mass. A special word of thanks to Fr Tomás O'Connell, Fr Joe Walsh, Fr Loughlin Brennan and Fr Donncha O hAodha and the priests of Rathfarnham Parish, Fr Joseph O'Hanlon and Fr Tony O'Shaughnessy, for their celebration of a very comforting funeral Mass. Thanks also to Cormac Breathnach traditional Irish musician and the Courts Service Choir for their meaningful music and singing. We appreciated all the visits to the house, the Mass cards, floral tributes, letters of sympathy and all other expressions of support and comfort. We thank those who have continued to help us over the past year as we try to adjust to life without Michael. The continued support and understanding from colleagues in the Courts Service and the staff and pupils in both Loreto Beaufort Rathfarnham and Rockbrook Park School is also very much appreciated, As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our warmest appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was offered for your intentions at a Memorial Mass held in Cloghane, Co. Kerry this August.
