O'CONNOR Eugene Aidan (Ballincollig, Cork and Churchtown, Dublin) August 13 2014. Deeply regretted by his loving mother Margaret (Peig), brothers Kieran and Brendan, sister-in-law Helen, cousins, nieces and nephew and by his colleagues at Cork Institute of Technology. Rest in Peace. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Lwr. Main Street, Dundrum, Dublin this (Saturday) afternoon, and on Monday until the removal to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown, arriving at 5.15 pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11.30 am. followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.

<p>Condolences</p> <p>To the family of Dr. Aidan O'Connor,</p> <p><span>It is with regret that I was informed today of Aidan's passing last August.</span></p> <p><span><span>He was a true credit to CIT.</span></span></p> <p><span><span>I still have to this day Bob Dylan tapes that Aidan made for me, complete with liner notes!</span></span></p> <p><span><span>I have fond memories of Aidan's lectures, as well as his wit, intelligence and open-mindedness.</span></span></p> <p><span>RIP Aidan.</span></p> <p><span>Kind Regards,</span></p> <p>Paul Shanahan</p> <p>Chem.
