DEASY, Cathal (Booterstown, Co. Dublin, formerly of Kilbrittain, Co. Cork and late of McDermotts Pharmacy, Howth, Co. Dublin) 18th November 2024. Peacefully, at Blackrock Hospice, after a long illness borne with immense bravery and dignity. Dearly beloved husband and best friend of Meabh (McCann) and adoring father to Charlotte, Caoilainn and Darragh. Predeceased by his father Pat. Cathal will be forever loved by his wife and children, mother Phil, sisters Clíona, Róisín and Siobhán, brother Pauraic, parents-in-law Seamus and Philomena, brothers-in-law Paudie, Odhrán, Cillín and Tim, sisters-in-law Ciara, Michelle and Ciara, Pauraic’s partner Shauna, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, relatives and many wonderful friends and colleagues. Cathal will be reposing this evening (Wednesday 20th November) at Fanagans Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28) from 5pm to 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday 22nd November at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown followed thereafter by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross (D6W HY98). The Funeral Mass may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/booterstown. Family flowers only, online donations, if desired to Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association. House private please.
