DUFFY, Michael J. (Mickey) (Central Park, Mullingar) December 10, 2018 following an illness fought with great fortitude and dignity in the tender and loving care of the wonderful staff and nurses at Newbrook Nursing Home, Mullingar. Much loved husband and soulmate of Dilly, loving father of Tom, Mary (Finnerty), Gerry, Catherine (McAndrew) and Dorothy (Munnelly), adored granddad of Mark, Andrew, Lucy, Rebecca, Gerry, Juliana, Rory, Penny and Timmy. He will be dearly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, sister Phil (Sherry), brother Tom (Sutton) sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, his wide circle of friends and his fellow members of the British Legion. R.I.P. Reposing at Shaw’s Funeral Home, Mullingar today (Wednesday) from 3 o’c until 6 o’c, concluding with prayers at 6.30 o’c. Funeral Mass in The Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 10 o’c followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery. No flowers please.
