CAHILL Pearse - On the First Anniversary of his death the family of Pearse would like to thank all of his wonderful friends for the affection and attention shown to him in the last few years of his long and full life. As a pioneer of the Aviation and Motor racing world he thrived on excitement and he retained this sense of adventure for almost 95 years. He relished company both young and old and his social life was the envy of many. His zest for life knew no bounds and he continued working and travelling with his best friend Catherine right up to the end. Thank you to everyone who attended his send off last year or sent their condolences. We were amazed at the volume of cards and emails from all over the world. A special thanks to the Irish Air Corps for the guard of honour, he would have been thrilled.Godspeed Pearse
