MION, (née Kearns) (Dalkey, Co Dublin, former teacher Mount Anville School) October 2, 2021, (peacefully) in the exceptional care of all the staff in St Joseph’s Nursing Home, Shankill, Elizabeth Ann, beloved wife and best friend to Angelo, loving mum to Brian, Shane, Anna-Lise and Jonathan. Sadly missed by her husband, children, adored grandchildren Jay, Luke and Matthew, her sister Mary-Rose (Assaf), brothers in law Richard and Sean, sister in law Una, nephews and niece, extended family, friends and her dog Ollie (the little fella!). Elizabeth's Funeral will take place today (Tuesday) at 10.00am in the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey which can be viewed on http://www.churchservices.tv/dalkey followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. May she Rest in Peace

Elizabeth and I knew each others as past pupils of Muckross. We met, irregularly, in Dalkey, never by arrangement but it was always my great pleasure. I miss her sunny smile. May she rest peacefully.
