Mrs. Doran

It would seem strange for me to call you anything else but Mrs.Doran. You came into my life as my teacher! I can remember clearly our first encounter. We were both new to Blessington School , and even though you must have been so nervous, you were aware of me as a new child and made me feel welcome and safe. From that day on you became my mentor, motivation and inspiration. You taught me real values, and I have several examples of where you trully earned my trust and respect.

It is not chance that I went on to become a teacher, myself, which you knew.

I love teaching- but I think that you knew I would.

I am now training to be a headteacher and my core values , I know stem from my early expereinces.

My final interview is in a few weeks and I know that you will be with me every step of the way ( Don't worry, I have the appropriate outfit and footwear ready!)

I hope I will make you proud.

I sincerely hope that Adam and Henry realise how wonderful you were, and how many lives you positively influenced over the years.

My thoughts are with them now.

Thank you for everything.

Love always,

Sharon Hunt (nee Kinch)
