HICKEY (Lenaboy Park, Salthill, Galway) - June 23, 2011 (peacefully) after a short illness. John (in his 92nd year) (Former Vice Chairman and General Manager of The Connacht Tribune and Fellow of The Marketing and Management Institutes), dearly beloved husband of the late Kathleen and much loved father of John E., Pat, Mary, David and Cathy; sadly missed by his sons and daughters, sisters Violet Flaherty and Raphael Philbin, daughters-in-law Mary and Imelda, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue on Sunday June 26, from 3.30 p.m. with Removal at 4.30 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Funeral after 11 am, Mass on Monday to Forthill Cemetery. Family flowers, donations if desired to Western Alzheimer's, Colonial Buildings, Eglinton St., Galway.May He Rest In Peace
