CASEY - Erika (Salthill, Galway 23 April, 2020) On the first
anniversary of Erika’s death, her children Margaret, Timo,
Brigitte and the extended family would like to express their
sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with them on
their loss. Special thanks to Dr Donal Curtis, to Adrian, Sinead and the staff of Mullins’ Pharmacy, to Cepta Collins, to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Bons Secours Hospital, and to everyone in Galway Hospice for their extraordinary care. We are also indebted to Robert and Keith of Conneely Funeral Directors for their kindness, to Pastor Stephan of the Lutheran Church for the lovely service, to Jane O’Leary for her assistance, and to Deirbhile, Éadaoin, and Con Tempo’s
Adrian for bringing the music so beautifully to life, as well as
to Fr Ben Hughes for his support. To Erika’s friends in both
the Galway Samaritans and Music for Galway, as well as to
those of you who left messages or sent condolences and masscards from near and far at a time when you couldn’t be
physically present, and finally, to Erika’s neighbours and
friends who came out to say “Auf Wiedersehen”, your kind
gestures touched our hearts.
