McCARTHY November 11, 2015, (Invercargill, New Zealand) Professor John Callaghan, ex University College Dublin. Beloved husband of Ursula (deceased) and father of Ingrid (Lindsay) and Eva. Brother of Fr. Tommy, Fr. Derry (deceased), Cathal and Aine (Threadgold). He will be sadly missed by his loving granddaughter, Birgit Kelly (née Brummer) London, and grandsons Timothy, Robert and Alexander and by Mac, his son-in-law and Andrew husband of Birgit, brother-in-law Chris and sisters-in-law Hannelore and Collette and his many relatives and friends. Funeral, Monday November 16, in Invercargill, New Zealand. A Memorial Service and burial to take place in Dublin at a later date.
