MANNION, James (Jimmy) (‘Grove House’, Barrymore, Kiltoom, Athlone, Co Roscommon). March 9, 2020; (peacefully), in the wonderful care of the staff at St Vincent’s Care Centre, Athlone; after a long illness bravely borne. Much loved husband to Jackie (Campbell), adored Dad to Emily and Shane and brother of Gerry, Alfie, Evelyn (U.S.A.), Carmel (U.S.A.) and the late T.J. He will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of good friends. Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon this (Wednesday) evening from 4.30 o’c until 7.00 o’c. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) morning to the Church of the Risen Christ, Ballybay arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.00 o’c. Burial afterwards in Kiltoom Cemetery. No flowers please.
