VARD - (Leslie) Sandyford Dublin. Died January 6 2024. Beloved father of Derek, Cathy, Wendy, Lisa and Conor. We and all our extended family, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law and grandchildren, would like to express our sincere gratitude for the kindness shown to us on the recent sad loss of our darling Dad Leslie . Thank you to all who called to the house, attended his funeral service, wrote letters and sent cards, kept us in your prayers, left messages of condolence online, and for sharing your special memories of Dad. Thank you to our lovely neighbours. It was a great comfort to us knowing that so many people were with us at this very difficult time. Heartfelt thanks to Father Joe Kennedy for his wonderful service of celebration of Dad’s life. We are especially grateful to his carers Janice and Agnes, his wonderful doctors, nurses and staff in the Beacon Hospital and especially Michael Cullen. Dr. Conor and Aisling O’Toole, (Slievemore Clinic). His many friends in Foxrock Golf Club. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, due to lack of contact details, we do hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation.
