LANE, David Thomas (Dublin and Donegal) – June 3, 2023, in the exceptional care of the staff at Gascoigne care home in Rathmines. Beloved husband of Louisa; much loved father of Johanna, Tim and Andrew and father-in-law of Mike. Formerly of Dundrum, and teacher at Newpark Comprehensive School, Blackrock. Loved and remembered by his sister, Alison, and brother-in-law, Bob, and a wide circle of family and friends, including his best canine friend, Molly. Service of Thanksgiving and burial will take place on Thursday, 8th June at 12pm in St Patrick’s Church, Powerscourt, Enniskerry. Flowers from your garden or wild flowers only, or donations to fieldsoflife.org should you wish.

So sorry to hear of your loss, Louisa. You both taught me in Newpark many years ago. I actually did a plumping course (night school) with David (1980s?) and got to realise what a nice man he was.
