DONLON, John (Northbrook Road, Ranelagh, Dublin 6 and formerly of Dublin Street, Longford) - June 4 2016, (peacefully) after a very short illness, surrounded by his loving family in the Beacon Hospital, Leopardstown. John (former secretary general of Industry and Commerce) beloved husband of Máirín and much loved father to Ciara; sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, son-in-law Laurent, grandson Senan, brother Leo, sisters Róisín and Marion, sisters-in-law Mary and Mona, brothers-in-law Michael, Pat and Johnny, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing at his residence on Northbrook Road, Ranelagh today (Monday) between 2.00pm and 5.00pm prior to his removal to the Church of Mary Immaculate, Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines arriving at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow morning (Tuesday) at 11.00am followed by cremation thereafter in Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only.
