McCABE - Fergus on his First Anniversary, October 8. Fergus would have been really moved to see all of you who helped celebrate the life he loved so much by attending his funeral, in whatever way possible. While ill, he so much enjoyed the texts, calls, cakes, jokes and debates shared by friends and family near and far, by former co-workers and young people he had known from community involvement and sport.

We, his family, are conscious that due to the restrictions we missed the opportunity of thanking you all personally for coming and sending such heartfelt cards, tributes, and letters, for being such great friends to him and for supporting his work and aspirations. His legacy will be honoured by those continued efforts.
