LANE, (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and late of Beaumont and Connolly Hospitals and the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland), March 29th 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the staff of St. Francis Hospice Blanchardstown, Brian E. FRCSI. Beloved husband of Jean and cherished father of Louise and Brian and beloved uncle of Bobby Vance. Predeceased by his sister Henrietta; sadly missed by his loving family, brother Fr. Dermot, daughter-in-law Sharon, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, cousins, niece, nephews, relatives, colleagues, friends and neighbours. Fondly remembered for his tireless dedication and care to his patients and countless students privileged to learn from him. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown tomorrow Tuesday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock for funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery. Donations if desired to St. Francis Hospice.
