CASSIDY, Edward (Ned) (Dun Laoghaire and Clontarf), January 11, 2022 at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Architect, town planner and former Principal Planning Advisor at the Department of the Environment. Truly loving and dearly loved husband of June. Treasured father of Peter, Gabrielle and Orla, grandfather of Nathanael and Kevin, and father-in-law of Xiaohong. Brother to Michael, Mary, Pauline and the late Liam. Sadly missed by his extended family and friends. Ned’s family wish to express grateful thanks for the compassionate care received during his eleven weeks in hospital. Removal Saturday (January 15) from Quinn’s Funeral Home Glasthule to St Joseph’s Church, Glasthule, arriving at 9:50am for a 10.00am Funeral Mass followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross. For the safety of family and friends, the ceremony may be viewed via webcam at www.churchservices.tv/glasthule No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace
