KEARNEY, Rev Fr Thomas SMA, Society of African Missions, (late of Ardee, Co Louth). November 22, 2021, unexpectedly at his brother’s residence in Ardee, Co Louth. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Rose (née O’Gorman) and his brother-in-law Aidan Carroll. Deeply regretted by his sister Anita Carroll, his brother Seamus and his wife Margaret, nieces and nephews, grand-nephews and grand-nieces, relatives, friends, the people of the diocese of Ijebu-Ode, Nigeria, the Archdiocese of Westminster, England, and the Archdiocese of Tuam, the people of SMA Wilton parish and his confreres in the Society of African Missions. Removal from Tenanty’s Funeral Home, Ardee, on the 27th November (Saturday) at 11.30am to arrive at the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee, for 12 noon Mass, followed by burial in Ballapousta cemetery, Ardee. Please observe Covid-19 regulations regarding social distancing and face coverings. At the family’s request, Family Flowers only, donations in memory of Fr Tom to the Rev Provincial Leader, Society of African Missions, Blackrock Road, Cork. Condolences may be added at www.rip.ie.
