LYONS, Joan Dorothy (née Farley) Dublin - December 12, 2016, (peacefully), in the loving care of the Ferndene Nursing Home, Blackrock, surrounded by all her family, pre-deceased by her beloved husband Sam and son-in-law Richard (Frost), loving mother to Tony, Jackie (Frost), Joan (Aiken), Avril (Keogh) and Sammy; sadly missed by her daughters-in-law Sandra and Sheelagh, sons-in-law Loclann and Paul, her twenty grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. May she Rest in Peace. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Thursday) to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, at 11.00am, followed by burial at Deans Grange Cemetery.
LYONS (née Farley), Joan Dorothy, beloved wife of the late Sam, on this the Second Anniversary of her passing, lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children Tony, Jacqueline, Joan, Avril and Sammy, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; who together with their families wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them, who attended the Requiem Mass and burial at Deans Grange Cemetery and who sent Mass Cards and letters of condolence. A special thanks to family friend Fr. Paul Lavelle who celebrated the Requiem Mass and to the nurses and staff of Ferndene Nursing Home who cared for her so well. As it was impossible to thank everybody individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your attentions.
