GRUMLEY, (née Bouchier-Hayes) Irene, (Monkstown, Co. Dublin and formerly of Leeson Street, Dublin 2) March 28, 2025. Peacefully, at home with her children by her side. Devoted wife to the late Eamon, adoring mum to Graham and Hilary and cherished granny “Ide” to Kate, Tom, Sarah, Charlie and James. Predeceased by her sister Ann, brothers Tommy, Dermot, David, Philip and Michael. She will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Eilis, son-in-law Ben, siblings Gillian, John, Mona, Mary and Tim, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Irene will be reposing in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, X94XK28 tomorrow evening (Tuesday) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (April 2) at 10am in St. Patricks Church, Monkstown followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. For those who cannot attend, the Mass can be viewed on the Church webcam.
