O'CONNOR - Cormac. Peacefully, surrounded by family on August 3, 2022 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. Born in Cork City, Co. Cork on October 1, 1930. Beloved husband of Elva (née O’Brien), married in Dublin in 1967. Loving father to Rowena (Jean), Conal, Niall, Roisin (Matt), Eavan (Ryan) and Sheena (Jeff). Remembered as a storyteller by his grandchildren Lucia, Raj, Raina, Aoife, Aideen and Nora. Third of nine children to the late Eugene and Nora (née Wiseman). Brother to the late Maeve, Hugh, Clare Stephens, Owen and Brian. Survived by brothers Robert and Rory and sister Emer Torpey. Graduated from Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1953. Career started in Ireland and brought family to England, Australia and Canada. Private funeral Mass was celebrated by Father Paul Conway on Sunday, August 11 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Memorial donations to Sault Ste. Marie (Ontario, Canada) St. Vincent de Paul or Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
