SMITH Gerry (Gerald), March 7, 2016 (born January 24, 1929 Eaglesham near Glasgow and, since 1963, of Shanganagh Vale, Loughlinstown), after a short illness borne courageously, in St Vincent's Hospital; devoted husband of the sadly-missed Sue, beloved father of Michael and Stephen, and grandfather to Kappa and Rosa; convivial and humane friend to so many; late of Irish International and O'Kennedy Brindley Advertising. No removal. Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 12 at 11.30am in Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church, Foxrock, followed by private cremation. Family and friends welcome in his home from 8.00pm.
