PURCELL, (Cork and Killiney, Co. Dublin) - On June 2nd, 2023, peacefully at the Mercy University Hospital, following a long illness, and in the presence of his loving family, PETER GERALD, Maryborough Woods, Douglas (late of Purcell Scaffolding Cork Ltd.). Beloved father of Simon and Amy and brother of Michael, Christine and the late Amy. Sadly missed by his loving children and their mother Susan, grandchildren Fiachra, Uma and Remi, brother, sister, nephews, nieces, daughter-in-law Ruth, Amy’s partner Matt, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives, work colleagues and a wide circle of friends. Visitation on tomorrow (Tuesday) (6th June) from 6:00pm at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge with prayers at 6:45pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (7th June) at 12:00 noon at St. Columba’s Church, Douglas. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Crosshaven. Family flowers only.
