HUGHES, Sheila (née Vernon) (Granville Park, Blackrock and formerly Manchester, England) - Born October 12, 1934 - Died March 9, 2020 very peacefully after a short illness in St. Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park. Beloved wife of the late Allen Hughes (2006) and much loved and cherished mother of her four boys, Stephen, David, Paul and Mark. She will be very sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Aisling and Jenny, her eleven adored grandchildren, Zoe, Leah, Robyn, Aoibhinn, Ruby, Harry, Florence, Joe, Orla, Dylan and Toby, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home 5 Newtown Park, Blackrock A94 X308 this (Wednesday) evening between 6.00pm and 8.00pm. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) morning to the Church of the Guardian Angels Newtownpark Avenue arriving at 09.50am for 10.00am Requiem Mass with Cremation thereafter in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross.
