PENNYCOOK Lindsay - The wife and family of the late Lindsay Pennycook offer their warm and sincere thanks to everyone who helped, supported and sympathised with them during their sad bereavement in November 14, 2014. To all who attended the wake and funeral; to those who brought gifts, sent cards and messages of sympathy. Thank you to all our kind neighbours, relatives and friends who helped with refreshments at the wake or supported us in any way. We thank the medical health professionals in St. James's and St. Luke's Hospitals who looked after Lindsay each time he was hospitalised. To the staff of the Rathfarnham Health Centre for their care and happy disposition at every visit and to the Voluntary Health nurses who cared for Lindsay briefly at home. We thank the Carmelite Community Knocklyon especially Fr. Eanna and Fr. Sean for their attention and support throughout. A special thanks to Fr. David Weakliam for his thoughtful preparation and celebration of the very meaningful Requiem Mass and to Fr. Sean Knocklyon and Fr. Stephen Monaghan St. Patrick's College Drumcondra for celebrating with Fr. David. Thank you to the staff and pupils of St. Colmcille's Community School for their respectful guard of honour. Thank you to the musicians and soloist and everyone who took part in the funeral mass and further enriched the ceremony. Thanks and appreciation to directors of Carnegie's Funeral Home for the professional and dignified manner in which they conducted the funeral and cremation. Please accept this notice as a token of our thanks and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
