FLEMING - Liam; Golf Links Road, Roscommon and formerly of Main Street, Roscommon and Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon. Liam (in his 90th year), passed away peacefully, on September 3, in the wonderful care of the incredible team at the Roscommon Hospice, surrounded by his loving family, after a long life well lived. Predeceased by his grandson Oscar Brehony and brothers Oliver and Brian. Dearly missed by his loving wife Lilian, adored daughters Ríona, Eustelle, Lisa, Fiona, sons Shane and Aiden. Deeply regretted by his sons-in-law Leo (McGuinness), Garreth (Carroll), Robert (Tilson), Michael (Brehony), daughter-in-law Orla (Thompson), much loved grandchildren Della, Theo, Roddie, Síoda, Jack, Dylan, Daniel, Simone, Liam, William, Isobel, Scott, Emma and Eloise, sister Patricia (Gill) sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Liam will repose at Smyths Funeral home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Thursday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Roscommon on the morning of Friday, September 5 at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Comans Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers to The Mayo Roscommon Hospice or Parkinsons Ireland in memory of Liam Fleming. We all die. The goal is not to live forever; the goal is to create something that will.
