SMALL, Tony, Galway, who died on January 20, 2013. We, Tony's sisters and brother, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who participated in his funeral, and especially to the celebrant and to Tony's dear friends, the musicians; and to all who attended it, most especially those who travelled long distances to pay their final respects to their much-loved companion and colleague. We were immeasurably helped and consoled in our sudden bereavement by the great outpouring of love for Tony and his music and of solidarity with us that occurred during the funeral and its aftermath. We are eternally grateful for the volume and warmth of this wave of sympathy, which came in the way of all kinds of personal communication from near and far. We hope to be able to reply individually to as many of those communications as possible in time to come. A Remembrance Mass for Tony will be celebrated by Father Martin Glynn in the Good Shepherd Parish Centre, Castlegar Sports Complex, Doughiska, Galway at 11.00am on Sunday April 21.And wipe the tears for ever
from his eyes.
