NOLAN, Brian Sebastian (Dun Laoghaire and Sandycove) - February 12, 2024, peacefully in the wonderful care of Our Lady's Manor, Dalkey, after a short illness. Loving husband of sixty years to the late Rosaleen. Hugely inspirational father to Fionnuala, Jonathan and Brian and their spouses, John, Stephen, Christine, and Cormac (deceased). Passionately devoted grandfather to Aoife and Emmet Nolan, and Cillian Barry. President of Foxrock Geraldines GAA Club. Guiding mentor to generations of staff at McCullaghs, Nicholls and Brian S Nolan. His kind and gentle nature will be missed by lifelong friends and neighbours in Kill Avenue, Elton Park, Kilgorman and in Geraldines GAA Club. Fondly remembered by the devoted staff of Brian S Nolan, Dun Laoghaire. Remembering also his late siblings Mena, Maureen, John (Father Herman) and Francis. We greatly appreciate the love and exceptional kindness of his large circle of friends, now and always. And we will be forever indebted to the nuns and saintly carers of Our Lady's Manor. No flowers, please. Donations instead to SVP, the Society of St Vincent de Paul. May he rest in peace. Brian will be reposing on (Wednesday) evening (February 14th) from 5pm to 7pm in Quinn's Funeral Home, Glasthule. Funeral Mass on Thursday February 15th at 10am in St. Joseph's Church, Glasthule, followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. For those that cannot attend, the Mass can be viewed online using the following link: https://www.churchservices.tv/glasthule.
