CALLAGHAN John, (Bearna, Co. Galway and formerly Blackrock, Cork) (peacefully) at home - December 9, 2018. Dearly loved husband of Ann and wonderful father to Sarah, Michael, Richard and David. Much loved by his son and daughters-in-law Ger, Allison and Alison, his grandchildren Harry, Molly, Zoe, Darragh, Ella, Sarah and Tom. Deeply regretted by his sisters Ann, Judith and Mary, brothers Tom, Roger, David, Paul and Peter, relatives and friends. Reposing at the 'Cillin' within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna on Tuesday 11th December from 4:00p.m. Removal at 6:00p.m. to the adjoining Church. Funeral after 12:00 noon Requiem Mass on Wednesday 12th December to Realt Na Mara Cemetery, Furbo. No flowers please. "May his gentle soul rest in peace"

John was an absolute star and a pleasure to work with. He was a great support and I learnt a lot from him when I worked with him in the pathology lab in Galway in the 90's. My sympathies to his family. Dr Patrick Costello Nottingham
